LAKE KATRINE - U.S. Rep. Maurice Hinchey says the House Appropriations Committee has agreed to put $2.9 million for The Solar Energy Consortium and its partners in the Energy and Water Appropriations bill and Financial Service Appropriations bill for fiscal 2009.
